End Of Carve December

I did not carve every day, but I did manage to get quite a few done. I have lots of carving material left and hope to carve my days of the week stamps again. Here are my numbers stamps that I did. They are small enough that they fit into a small mint box!
Go to     Julie's Blog   as she is the one who started #CarveDecember. Her book and online classes are great to learn how to carve repeating stamps. I am not perfect, but has a blast playing! And that is what art journals are all about!

Bullet Journal Post

I decided I like it when my Bullet Journal has a little pizazz. Even if it is just my tea tags and coloring around my stamped letters and numbers.

Some New Stamps and Sad News

It was sad to hear that Julie's father passed earlier this month. She is the one who is running Carve December.

Here are my stamps over the past few days.

#carvedecember

 Julie at Balzer Designs
has a challenge every December to make hand carved stamps. Some friends and I decided to take up the challenge. Mine are quite simple, but perfect for my little journal.

stamp from 2015?

I reused it!

Some Bullet Journal Backgrounds

I do not like the white page. I am using an old sketchbook for this BuJo, but don't really like it. Paper is a little thin.

Just some watercolor paint, but I like it.

Clint Page

I started with the page above and then did some painting and doodling:

This is how it ended up. Not perfect, but I am moving on. I am tired of trying to get each page exactly right.

August Stamp

I got this done in just the nick of time to be ready for my August Bullet Journal page, which I still have to do.
As a birthday treat I may take some time and carve another stamp.

A Few Little Journals

I sent one group of these off to my nieces and I am giving the others to my arty friends. They were so much fun to make! I hope they like filling them.

More Pocket Journals

It is nice to work on a small space, but I hate not having all my supplies available. Still, it is a good challenge!
I didn't like this page as it was, so I took a cue from Julie Fei Fan Balzer
That link isn't quite right, but somewhere on her blog is a post about cutting into your art journal to make a lacy page.
I think I need to cut a little more, but I don't have an exacto knife upstairs.

Day 6-9

It was a lot of fun to play and put paint on these pages. Some I like and some I don't, but it is the showing up that is important.

I did some stenciling on the back of some scrapbook paper so I can make some journals for my nieces.

Days 3-5

I knew it would be hard to post every day, so I a just doing it in a group. I love this challenge as the pages are small and it is fun to see what I can do with limited supplies.

I used a new stencil from Stencil Girls for this page using the prompt-Curves.
I thought the first image was done, but looked again and felt it needed some words. Prompt-Geometric.
Today the prompt is Ruled. I used a few stencils and then found this verse:
Join the fun at Rae Missigman . The class was great fun and her blog is excellent.
