Garden 2018

Beans did well. Enough for us with big trellis and teepee set up. Tomato cage worked too.

Did not like red cherry tomatoes. Not as many, not as early, not as sweet as the yellow.

Plant cucumbers 4 weeks apart. Plant pickle type too.
Eggplant did ok. Different type next year? This was little.
Kale must be covered or eaten by something-small bugs!
Sweet peppers did ok. Took too long. Try bell peppers again? No sweet!
Tomatoes are producing but green for long time. Just starting to turn red.

Gifts for Friends

I love making journals and while clearing my basement had the brilliant idea to make two new pocket journals for my friends.

I have more to add, but I love the image!

My Log so Far

I find having to fill out the little squares makes me want to do the item more.

I Want To Travel

I have decided to just start doing art. Not perfect art, but play in my journal. I have been not doing anything because I don't like my junk journal, but can't seem to allow myself a new one. So I will just start playing

Ezekiel Heart

I am trying to get back to my art journal. It is difficult with the boys home, but a little at a time.

My Needlework Journal

A friend asked me if I used my Bullet Journal for my needlework. I have kept a journal of my needlework projects for years. This has a lot of photos, just to let you know!
This is the cover of the notebook:
I made it with a napkin, paint and a composition notebook (my favorite journal book!)
These are my bookmarks:
I had yarn that I used to mark spots, but could never remember what yarn went for what thing! I finally just marked the year with a big tag!
I tried to do 31 projects last year. There are people who start a new project every day of the year and finish nearly as many! I tried for several years to do 15 starts and failed miserably! So I started listing the projects I wanted to accomplish and posting them on my needlework blog
This is the list from 2017. (I covered the titles to pilot classes that I stitched):

I think I worked on 27 projects last year and finished 19.
When I work on a project I make a page for it in the notebook(I have numbered the pages) and make notes about the project if I feel the need. If it is a large project, I also make progress notes.

When I finish a project, I make a note on my list and on the page I stitched it. If it is a Mill Hill bead kit, when it is totally finished, I cut the color image out and paste it into my journal.
I really need to find a way to put images of my other completed work into my notebook. I could print a photo from my computer, but I am too lazy.
I need to start a new page for 2019!
